Drain pit smell cures?

Bleach, or simple green. That simple green stuff cures damn near anything!!

 

I'm surprised no one has suggested dryer sheets.

 

It seems most of the posters on this thread have suffered from a humorectomy!

 

I caught the landlord today and told him what was up. He came back with a non descript gallon jug and poured it in. I no longer smell rotting pit funk. Now everything just smells like chemicals. I haven't decided if this is better yet.
