I still have some back pain. Not enough to keep me home from work but bad enough to keep me from working on my cars. I went back to work on 12/1 which wasn't too tough because I have a desk job. Sitting around all day isn't good either though. Rod brought my coupe back to me on Thanksgiving Day with the fender fixed. Calling him RottenRodney is kinda like calling Shaquille O'Neal "Tiny". He's a great friend. I drove it on one rod run and went to the Mooneyes show since then. I'm hoping I'll be all healed up by the end of the month so I can get back to work on my projects.
Hope you're back to full speed soon. We're going through withdrawls without any updates on your web site.
Glad toy hear you are on the mend Don. Thanks for all your help in 2003, your latest work is in the current January 2004 Goodguys Gazette. Thanks so much! Heads up to you- we are planning a road trip to Des Moines then on to Ohio with a few famous old AMBR cars if you are into a long cruise this July.
Jim, that sounds like fun. It also sounds like it might burn up the lion's share of vacation days for the year. Contrary to popular opinion, I DO have a job. What are the dates? I'll see if I can squeeze it in. S.S. I'll be at the Ranch Run.
This will start the last week of June, hit Des Moines for July 2,3 & 4 then road trip over to Columbus, Ohio for the 9,10 & 11. Could always skip Des Moines. This will be heavilly covered for a couple magazines (not just mine) so it will be fun if a few friends can come along to make it interesting. Understand if you are busy, just wanted to throw it out there.
Good to hear that you're on the mend Don. Pity they can't just whack that back of yours with a hammer to fix it up.
