I've had a certain project in the back of my mind for a while...

An early 30's long wheelbase sedan body of some kind (something BIG), probably with a slight chop...a custom hood with fenders that are more or less the same length as the donor body...twin engines of some kind (there are too many fun choices, but maybe even lincoln V12's)...and of course it would have to have dual sidemounts

I'm dreaming just a little, but this IS a dream car list after all :D

  12. My 1940 Plymouth Coupe when it is finished is what I want most.

My truly weirdo car I've wanted for over 25+ years...... I just bought!!!!!!!

How many can we pick?! :D

For me, as of now, this would be the list:

1966 Ranchero, nice paint, Rocket wheels...mild custom
Deuce roadster done Lakes style with a more modern drivetrain
1939 Ford Deluxe coupe...always and forever on the list!
26-27 Tall T coupe on stock Model A chassis w/V8-60 for power
27 Roadster on stock Model A chassis with souped 'Banger mill
1968 Cougar GTE (an early one with the 427 side oiler!)
    1973 Torino...just a stockish daily driver!

That'd be my "Lucky 7" if I won the lottery tonight!

  15. I still want the Aston Martin from the James Bond movie. Any car that comes with a girlfriend called PUSSY GALORE can't be all bad>>>>.

I don't know if I could ever say for sure (too many cars to choose from).

However, some cars that I don't have that I wish I had are:

1)1938 Buick Century Sport Opera coupe, no side mounts, black (know of one for sale?). Stock or vintage speed (perhaps with 41/42 dual intake/exhaust).
    2) 1954 Pontiac Chieftain Custom Catalina coupe (mustard yellow) - to make custom.
    3) Model A or 32 Ford roadster hotrod - old school (perhaps nothing on it newer than 1962 - no billet, bench seats, not too much shiny stuff, Ford flathead or 50's nailhead, or something else).
    4) pre-war coupe - hotrod, 40 Ford or possibly something less common like 39 Desoto or 36 Buick. Hemi if Desoto, nailhead of Buick. Ford Flathead if Ford.

Well, I have my '53 Studebaker so that dream came true. Others I would like would be a '49 Cad Sedanette Custom, would consider same year and shape Buick too. And a '54 Studebaker Conestoga Wagon done custom. Something about the early 50s cars that appeals to me. Lots of thick workable metal in them. Might like to have some sort of rag top too, still thinking on that one.

    (1) 1956 Nomad (or 2 door sedan), 327, huffer, 4 speed, all black.
    (2) 1967/68 Firebird, 400 V8.
    (3) 61 Starliner.
    (4) 57 Pontiac, two door or Safari wagon.
    (5) 46 Ford. This was my first car.

Can't afford number one so I settled for number two on the list last year, a 67 Firebird. Just after I got the Firebird, I saw two 61 Starliners in the neighbors back yard that have been setting there for decades. He mentioned that he's thinking of parting with them. Basically they are parts cars, but the bodies on both are straight and complete. Decisions... Decisions...

My dreams have already been fulfilled.

    94 Jeep YJ
    49 Ford Shoebox

LOVE them both! Used to want a Merc, but now that I have the Shoebox, it's REALLY grown on me and I wouldn't sell or trade either one for anything.
