Just driving my project ,would be my dream car... Long before buying the ford... by don daddyo posted Apr 27, 2014 at 9:25 AM
I have been in love with '29 sedan deliverys forever. If I came across a nice stocker, I would build this in a heart beat, but with Halibrands.
Among HAMB friendly cars, I have owned several of my dreams and am building my last one (see avatar). Among non-HAMB vehicles, there are several, any one of which would make me very happy: ...but none of those is likely to be realized.
?????????????️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️??????????????? I'm going to double dip and say when Crustz finishes this one it could well be on top of my wish list! But I would request the '36 style headlights !
I am driving my dream car. From my earliest interest in hot rods I was drawn to the 40 Ford and the coupe was always my favorite. I built at least 10 different versions of the AMT kits, went out of my way to get a look at the one in the next town which had the sign in the window "NOT for sale" and wrote a term paper in high school describing what my dream would look like. Fast forward fifty years and I decided to chase the dream and sold my 37 Ford and 49 Chev.I searched and with my wifes blessing I found myself in the right place at the right time and I finally got my 40 coupe. I still pinch myself when I see my car in the garage.I could have sold it 10 times since I've had it but it's "NOT for sale"
This one sits in front of the bakery in California adventure. Been there about 6 months. I'm trying to figure out how go get it out the gate!
Give me a day or two to gather gas money, I'll come help you get it. What the hell I haven't been locked up in California for a while. Sounds like an adventure to me.
Oh yea, I'm feeling that.... or... But really, probably a '64/'65 corvette coupe, with magnesium americans, skinny drag radials, a DNE 5 speed, and about 600hp of AFR headed, roller cammed 377.
Sorry, I thought my post was going to be below #40, it may have made more sense if that were the case.
I met the guy that this car belongs to at Good Guys last year. He is a very nice guy. He has a pretty cool C3 vette also.
