Wow,incredible craftsmanship, its amazing how these old parts can be brought back to life. most people ruin them,Henry would be impressed with your work though. I have a set of AR bones and axle,i would like you to drill them like they are your own.

    very nice work indeed!

Fascinated to know how many hours are in these, and if its not prying..what sort of hourly rate you charge, I would love to get this kind of work down here, and I really quite enjoy the tedious metal polishing/Tig filling routine, but I just dont think anyone would pay for it!

Im guessing they are $2000 bones when all done.. Bout right?

  5. Wow! Now you just gotta make a set for the rear...

I have a pair of 32 wishbones that were split back in the day, I am thinking of making them stock again with the rear section of a model A wishbone, several friends of mine have done this succesfuly, what do you think, for it shure beats paying $ 500 bucks for a set of un split bones ?

Yes i can. You can use an A yoke or one of another year but the 32-34 are all the same and if you would want it to look origonal that would be the best choice.

Does grounding down the factory weld seam affect the structural integrity of the wishbone??

  15. I like the idea for the tie rod end bar to fit through this oval made hole.

I am in the beginning of my first build and have some original 28-29 bones I will be working with. Your work is really inspiring. The attention to detail is really refreshing to see. Thanks for sharing

Just finished up a set of 35-36 front bones for a member, never done a set with the factory spring mounts still on. The bones will be mounted about 12 inches apart, the front mounts will be adjusted by the owner as needed.

    Pics next post.
