Drip rail replacement?

I pulled the drip roof rail moldings off since I am in the process of getting all the stainless steel repaired and polished. This stuff looks like coiled wire now that its off the car. Is it going to be useable again ? or where would I even find replacement drip rail molding for it??

 

Try putting it back on to see how it fits. I might be fine. If it is, take it back off and get it polished or whatever you took it off for, and reinstall it when it is time.
