Driveshaft or Twizzlers?

The driveshaft shop that I take work to has several great examples of that kind of damage on display.

Swingset pipe for sure, lol. I've broken yokes, u-joints, rings & pinions, but never saw a 'shaft as bad as that.

You would think a u-joint would let go first.

 

Wiiiind 'er up baby ! With an O/T 4x4 in the 80's, this sight was

common place, along with yokes, u-joints, axles, and the occasional

rign & pinion. I used to have Schimpf Louis E Inc, in Camden, NJ

on speed dial.
