drivetrain setup

ok, im running a 283 (not sure on bore yet) 416 casting 305 heads, duntov 097, single 4 bbl on performer intake, 3 speed saginaw with 3.50 low gear, and 3.42 gears in rear end. think she should be pretty quick down low unless im thinkin backwards, my question is how tall a rear tire i should go with so i still have quick bottom end. was thinkin a 29" tall rear, but i think i can go with a 31 now that i know what ratio in the transmission i have.

 

A lot depends on the car weight. Under 2200 or so I would think that 31 tire would work.
