This is one of the most basic hot rod modifications a guy can do. All you need is a torch, a measuring stick, and a tie down strap to pull the bar down as you heat it. A great way for a beginner to gain some confidence. And, if you screw it up another bar only costs about $25 at the swap meets. It should fit perfectly then.
