Drop tank education

    I found this drop tank many years ago. Uncovered it during some cleanup. I never knew what it fit or who to ask. I know the question will be answered before you read the it. What the heck is it from? About 91" long, 25" at it's widest. Flange is about 1/2'.
    I think it would be too small for a V-8 but a 4 cyl, or maybe a 2 or 3 wheel tank would be ok.

  4. I don't think thats a 75gal P-51/P-63 etc tank, but its very close.

    they turned a lot of those into carnival rides. as seen on american pickers. they passed up a few of them and i wanted to reach through the screen and scream!
