Hot Rods Drop Tank

    Does anyone know what this tank is off of?

    approximate dimensions

    length 11' 6 1/2"

    width and height (in center of tank) 21"

    cir***ference 67 1/2"



    Wing on the rear of tank

    length 37 1/2"

    width at tips of vertical uprights 26"

    120 gallon

    weighs 87 lbs empty

    Part # 172-48250

    Model # F-86

    Material AL Alloy # 22


    Does have a hole from sitting on the ground

    Mounting pins and sway control is still in tack

    Does have a few dents that could be fixed very ez

    I would venture to say , "F-86", since that's what it says on the data plate....

    Want me to come and get it?

    We, ( My car club), built a downhill racer out of one like that, x-cept made from steel.............Looked identical, to include the hole rotted in it..All the other fittings on our tank were identical to those, however, ours had no data plate.

    I'll come and get it , if you like.

    its just an old ****per tank that some skater kids threw a biohazard sticker on. haha
