Customs Drop the Shoebox

I recently purchased a 1951 Shoebox Ford...all original in excellent condition. ( will post pics the is week ) The only change I want to make is either to Drop the car about 5" or 6" or put it on bags....(and ad some 3" whitewalls of course). I was just curious as to opinions on lowering the ride. I'm not too concerned with keeping the value of the original car for a resale...I'm keeping this one to myself. Any input would be appreciated.
