I'm looking at putting a set of disc brakes and dropped spindles on my 60 Chev pickup. I like the torsion bar suspension and want to stay with it. Early Classic lists a set of spindles for 60-62 with steering stops and a different part # for 63-66. Other manufacturers show the same part # for all 60-66. Anyone had experience with torsion bar suspension and dropped spindles?
    Thanks

While I don't have any experience with the torsion front end (my '63 chevy has coil springs) I do know that the spindles from Early Classic Enterprises that I have for my truck won't work on 60-62 front ends. For that matter, most of the reputable dealers list a different spindle for 60-62 and then another for 63-66.Hope this helps.

Thanks! Seems another google search turned up only one place that used the same part number for both (AIM). Guess I know who I won't buy from.
