Does anyone have photos of a 54 with dropped spindles and aerostar springs, or cut coils? I have the spindles and about 1.5 coil cut in my car. Rides great! I have about another 1.5 or 2 inches i can go before i will have to worry about my tires hitting the inner wheel wells. I also have 2 inch blocks out back and have a set of 3in to go in once the front is where I want it. I cant figure out if I want to cut the other half coil out of my stock springs and see how it is? then if its too harsh I can get some aerostar spings. Just looking for any photos or info from those that have done it. I know my car sits nice now, but I want it lower. Just my personal preference. THanks guys!

I'd like to see these pics also. I have shorter springs, but stock spindles and want to add drop spindles to mine.

Keep in mind, a 53 is a king pin front end, the 54 and up are ball joints. Actually, a very good front end, but watch for rust in the front cross member.

oledon, I know the differences in the front susupension between years. I dont have much to worry about as far as my front end goes. Everything is brand new as of two years ago. I was lucky when restoring my car. Frame was clean with no rust and I have it powdercoated now. Looks Great!! I have some photos in my album if you are curious.

I have 1.5 inch drop spindles and areostar springs which gave me 4" of drop. Car rides perfect.
