I'm gonna lower my 49 Chev using dropped spindles but have been told 2 different ways to do it. Fatman Fab says I need to use dropped steering arms with the dropped spindles to avoid bump steer. The guys at the Filling Station say I don't need the dropped steering arms(only needed for 39 to 48 chevs)but I do need to replace my fixed tierod with an adjustable one. Has anyone got any advice on this one? Thanks Buzz

I have no experience with this. If you are looking for another opinion, call:

He don't do no internet. I feel somewhat like a heel, as he is in direct competition with a HAMB vendor, but you did ask for somone that would have different advice. He doesn't always answer the phone, so you may have to call more than once.
