Hello HAMBers. Been droppin in for a while and hangin out. Been readin and checking out what you guys and gals do and talk about. I got hooked on hotrods about 45 years ago when I saw one walking home from school in the 1st grade - been hooked ever since. It was a chopped and channeled A-bone w/ a Cadillac 8 and a metalflake paint job. Anyway, I grew up around cars. I was one of the guys who hung out in the halls and talked cars (still do). At this point, I've really grown tired of the "cookie cutter" hotrods and am glad to see the resurgence of traditional hotrods. When I was a kid, my grandfather had a 55 Caddy. I learned to drive sitting on his lap in that car when I was about 10. Now I've come full circle and have one of my own. I do my own work, drive my cars, play my b***, and ride my Harley (hence rodsnhawgs). I'm glad to have found this place and hope to be hangin out more.
