I just saw an adapter to run two of the three bolt flange carbs on a standard sbc intake. I beleive that it comes from Vintage Speed. With proper tuning it should run fine and look good too.

I think SamIam's roach rod has a pair of two barrels on a custom-welded manifold. I'm also seeing a lot of these adapters that mate two stromberg-style carbs onto a standard four-barrel manifold:

Armstrong beat me to it. There are a couple of other manufacturers making these, too--I think Offenhauser and a few smaller shops.

marq - redoxide from the nsra board has just bought an adapter very similar to this for about $40 - not from vintage speed i need to say - dont know who it was though. the adaptor has bolt holes so will fit onto any 4 barrel manifold

I bought a pair of them and mounted 4 94s on a tunnel ram(SBC powered bucket), just to see how it would look.... Wicked! Probably not the most traditional, but I can't stop grinning everytime I walk into the garage and isn't that what it's all about?

I'll try to get out to the garage and get a pic.

I'll be mounting the vintage speed adapter to my SBF 289 with 2 - 94's this summer.

  9. Before I fabbed the new intake I ran this on the stock 283 I had... it was an Offy adaptor (original) and ran like stink with the two Strommie 97's on it... [IMG]
