    Hi fellow hambers

I was given a "hi com" duel carb intake to suit a 24 stud flathead as i am rebuilding an 8ba.

I have done some searching and nothing has come up so im hoping someone may have some info on it!

The only detail on it is HI COM. Any leads or info would be great!

    Cheers, Josh

I agree with Mgtstumpy and Brind. This intake appears to be an Edelbrock Super 2X2. Someone decided to personalize it by adding a few letters. I wouldn't use this intake on your 8BA build. This intake was designed for the 1948 and earlier flathead engines. You need a 1949 to 1953 intake manifold with the draft tube provision to make you engine perform properly.

This looks exactly like an Australian made speco manifold which have always looked like a Edelbrock ripoff.
But I have never seen one with hi com.I can post a pic of a speco when i get home

I think one of the casting letters fell out before the pour!
