Hot Rods Dual Coil mallory info

I am going to be starting on my next project soon.
It has something I have never seen before.
It is a Mallory Dual Coil setup.
It appears to be missing parts.
Does anyone have any info on them?
This car was sitting for decades and appears to have been a race car at one time.

I an only familiar with later model Mallory set-ups (8BA and similar "post" distributors), Those used a regular cap and a special coil with two primary windings and only one secondary winging. Those are obviously Mallory "Best" coils (which I dearly love) but my first question would be is that a Mallory distributor? I can't see enough to even take a guess.

The coil brackets appear to be a bit too "agricultural" to me.
