Hey guys, I am planning on switching over to a dual reservior master cylinder but want to keep my drum brakes. Has anyone done this, if so what did you use I've looked at the early mustangs and they seem good but I didnt know if there was one that bolted right up. Let me know,

Very EZ swap,Go to Autozone and give them this part number: Fenco M1485 $29.99 including core charge, get a 20" length of 3/16" steel brake line also your '54 uses 3/16" lines you may need adapters from the Master to the lines, and a 3/16" T-Fitting(you may be able to salvage the OEM fitting) with a 3/16" to 1/8" adapter to screw in your brake light switch, the other ports will be from the back port of the Master to the rear brakes you will need a 3/16" "L" fitting for the front to join them this will go from the front port of the master to the front brakes ,this is where you will use the 20" line.Word of CAUTION soak the old fittings overnight with PB Blaster and only use a flare nut wrench as the old lines can strip easlily.Be sure and bench bleed the new master and you will be in business. The Autozone guys may not have the adapters,No prob,I got mine at Ace Hardware.
