Running a Mopar Prestolite dual point on my daily driver now & im curious about routine maintenance. Not sure how often to lube up the cam lobes since it has twice the stuff running on it since it's dual point.

It also has a cap you can unscrew from the side & I think it's to lube up the tach drive gears. Not sure what type of lube you put in & how often it should be done.

Anyone have any advice on this set-up?

As long as the points have bakelite rubbing blocks, dwell set & run in on a machine, I lube with Delco or Bosch cam lube & don't have to do much other than check for metal transfer.
