I put dual quads on the Falcon this summer and had some tuning issues but have started working them out and it is starting to slowly come around. I used two 3895s AFb's and they are real responsive and were just a little rich at wide open. I used an Edelbrock R.P.M. Air Gap instake. Next year with the new motor it should be even better. Here are a few pictures of the setup. Jon Tomkins
Looks great and i have to say your Falcon has one of the most uncluttered engine bays i have seen ...
My cup of tea there. My son has a 63 falcon that we are gonna drop a 289 bored 60 over with 351 heads in to. I saved the pics as that sir is a clean install. I love it!! Fitysix
Here is a picture that Bob Wenzelburger took of the Falcon at Marion Ohio back in August at the Funny Car Reunion, we were there with about 14 other gassers making exhibition runs on Saturday night. We were still working out some issues with the dual quads but made it down the track okay. Jon Tomkins
Thanks you for the nice comments. When my dad and I removed the shock towers and welded the cap on it made it much easier to remove the 351W if needed. you should have no problems with the 289 install. Jon Tomkins
