  1. Dual quad on a dual plane medium rise intake and a pair of Cal Custom 40-40 scoops would be the ticket.

Trick on mild small blocks is to run the progressive throttle linkage and small cfm 4 barrel carbs.

thanks...... yes space is a major factor and I just got the new radiator, grill shell, etc. all dialed in so no.... blower is out. Have decided to do a lot of small stuff this winter and focus on some other projects that are bigger, that way the car is ready to run for spring. Need to make some remote battery terminals, do some interior work and some other lil stuff.

  3. Duals are cool and perform great!

I call tunnel rams "hillbilly blowers" - what us poor folk use to get our induction up high.

But I love 'em. Simple to tune, easy starting, no bog or lag, scarey top end pull.

Don't rebuild your whole car to accommodate a blower; bolt on a tunnel ram Saturday and be driving Sunday.

  7. Yep ^^^^^ and I just happen to have a 2x4 offy sitting on a shelf, complete with filler neck. :)

Here are my thoughts, I would not run a blower for looks, period. The little coupe looks good on its own and doesn't need a blower to be cool. A low rise two by four is a very traditional setup, and would not detract from the look or the performance of the car.

I would not run a tunnel ram unless it was one of two things, a homemade setup or an Edelbrock Bread Box. And a little advice with the breadbox, you need an extra plenum with carbs set up in the trunk they had an awful habit of loading up and going boom.

    OK off my soap box.
    Next?

    Edit damn it:

I meant to say that a Potvin setup and move the radiator to the trunk would be cool as hell. ;)

I think a 4-71 with a single carb and that cool cast scoop you have would look killer....real 60's man!

  12. I'm a tunnel ram guy (my sig picture).
However I too would like to run a blower run day, just to see how it is.
