Shit. I cant remember but I want to say 6 inches. I took it out of the back between the stake pockets and fenders. I left all the body lines. I hate when I see them just lopped off the back.

Mine has 6-8 inches out of the back side. The tailgate hinge was welded into the bed floor with latches inside the tailgate. A Winter project plan of making traditional bumpers for the rear is in the works.

Mine has 5" taken out of it.

It's actually a 33-34 bed, so the 5" was taken in front of the wheel to get the wheelbase correct. It is basically the same as a 32 bed shortened 5" in the rear.

  24. Photo of the back of my truck.

We built a new bed from sheet metal along with the tailgate, and added a 1932 Chevy luggage truck for the battery and a little dry storage.

and the side shot, Denise gets credit for the rainy day photo! HRP

Yes, 200,000. It was finished in '85 and has been a daliy driver for most of that time. I wore out the front end 3 times, king pins and tie rod ends and it's on the 3rd engine.
My bed was shortened to just past the rear frame horns and the back of the bed remade with flat sheet metal with tailgate hinges welded on.
