dumass questions

I am pretty new to H.A.M.B. and have been enjoying all the stuff on it. Being basically a knuckle dragger my computer is full of magic and mystery and I need to try to post a picture but it keeps telling me I have too many pixels or something. Is there a guide? A way to resize? that don't require a tekky mentality?

Second question, (sorry group), but what the hell does H.A.M.B. mean?

You will need some software to resize the pics, they are too big. If you have some software, try saving them at a lower resolution.

Or do a post, exclaiming your inability to post pics because you don't know what you are doing - somebody will help out. Everybody likes pics.

And, welcome to the Hokey *** Message Board...

 

If you are running XP and the picture is in your hard drive.....right click on the pic and hit "edit".

Go to the top where it says image and go to stretch/skew............put a percentage in the boxes and go OK....that will decrease the size of the pic. Save the pic as a jpg file and you are away.

 

you can use this and it will resize it if you tell it to.

just copy and paste after pic is uploaded

Thanks to all who responded, now I have a road map we will see if I know how to follow directions. The what does H.A.M.B. mean was a real "duh!". I will try to post my projects soon...
