Am thinking of using one of these tailights on my bike(Royal Enfield). Does anyone know of the basic dimensions and most importantly is the bulb socket sticking out the back of the housing or is the back of the housing flush? Speedway makes a repro but I don't want to have the bulb socket sticking thru the fender. Was going to post on Jockey Journal but will try here first. Hope to have my Cafe Enfield ready for October/Daytona. I freakin hate the ***le they gave the PRO-AM to biketoberfest! To many black T-shirts with chains to there wallets. Daytona is about RACIN ! Sorry I got on my soap box. Again THANKS to all on the HAMB who have helped me with my Stupid questions.
Housing mounting surface is approx. 2-1/2" x 3-1.2" The "hump" on the rear is approx. 1/2" high. Pic showing the back-side is below. Hope it helps.
