Technical Dumb flathead question.

Will a stock v8 flathead Lincoln intake manifold fit a ford flathead? Is there are machine work needed?

No, a Lincoln is way bigger.

This image has been posted on the HAMB before and clearly shows the size difference between the big Lincoln V8 and the Ford Flathead.

 

But if you just wany a 4-bolt flange asd bigger passages, look into Mercury...there are several versions '49-53, and at least most of the Canadian ones you'd have down there are aluminum.
