Just want you guys to be aware that there's always someone looking to get something for nothing - and an old guy that's too trusting. I posted a want for a part and got a reply from Tommy Posey in Frankfort, Indiana saying he had what I wanted. Dummy that I am, I sent him the money and of course didn't get the part. So...watch out. Still looking for the part for my 29 Ford Pickup hot rod, but not on line.
Jim, sorry to hear that happened. You've posted in the Introduction sections so I'll extend a welcome. Wondering, where did you have the posting for the part and how did you get in touch with Tommy Posey, was it on the HAMB?
Welcome Jim. You're in good company. There are at least a dozen more dumb old guys here. Maybe even more. Now that you are here tell us about yourself and your 29 "A". Hopefully someone has the parts you need. I know of a few dumb old honest guys in Indiana.

That ****s but it happened to me on another web sit I hounded the guy for months never did get my money back I still call and text him on Christmas Easter and other holidays just to remind him that he is a thief and a liar good luck were both a little smarter now
Just saw your post. It was 2 weeks ago you sure he stole your money? You should intrduce yourself first before you go givin away your money. Jus sayin
