1952-59 Ford Dumb question?

Will a '53 Merc hood fit my '53 Customline 4dr? Thanks in advance for any advice!

 

There is a local HAMBer here who put a Ford hood on a 53 Merc, so I am thinking it should work. His HAMB name is fitzee and I believe the name of the thread is Mercury Mahem.

Thank ya fellas! There is a used one that I found with the scoop in the hood that I think might look killer.

 

i tried to put a merc hood on my ford and it was too narrow. i am going to cut out the center of my hood and the merc hood and put them together.
