I haven't seen them, but I don't see how that could possibly be done. Just so I'm sure, what's a flathead valve cover?

Instead of trying to make an Overhead valve motor look like a flathead you can make a flat head look like an overhead valve motor. These were made in New Zealand years ago. They were a press fit over the flathead head. A few sets of these have been sent to America over the years. Don't know who owns the moulds to these now but maybe one of the other Kiwi HAMBers can help.

  17. Those Flat head covers are cool! You guys gettin all bent outta shape 'bout the Flathead look a like covers for a chebby gotta get over it. I think that's funny. I welded MOPAR covers to my Chebby SBC just to Screww with peoples minds. It's a real kick in the ass to see peoples faces as they try to figure this Sh-t out. [IMG]

Or small block Chevs with Oldsmobile covers. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I have also seen sbc covers on a Y Block Ford. And FE Ford Covers modified to fit a 289 Ford.

running "falsies" is like running one of those RAINBOW-colored stickers on the back of your car...

You know what THAT means, right? Fags use those to signal their presence to each other...

I'm an asshole. It's my job to be a prick and make life hard on people, especially people who are trying to concoct novel ways of mounting beer keg gas tanks using stop signs.

Anyway I feel honored that you used my admonition as your signature line.

Truly, I'm a nice guy, I'm very helpful and I don't want you to make silly mistakes.

If you're ever in my neck of the woods look me up, I'll have you over for a wild racoon barbecue.

What kind of beer do you drink?

I haven't seen them little stickers for years! I was ignorant in the interpretation they conveyed and had a little 327 one in the back window of my 57 chevy truck, now I'm ashamed....... [IMG] I ain't no fag! In school it was always said the fags were the guys the girls always hung around leaving us "losers" twiddling our thumbs, working on cars or dirt bikes

    WHAT?

You must think of yourself with pretty high regards to need to enforce your "assholeness" on me and make sure I do not make silly mistakes. IF you read the post you might notice I am asking for help. I DO NOT want to run aluminum signs but I will be losing all my extra time very soon.

I am stuck in the middle of the country and did not get a chance to see these dummy valve covers. Now I ask for help and all I get is name calling. YEA...you're a nice guy...really...and very helpful.

    Chill out.

If you weren't the ultimate FNG you would know that NADular's is the biggest chain yanker on the HAMB.

Just smile, nod, and forget about it.

You're going to be in real trouble if GERM ever gets a hook in you.
