   you can OMNI base/clear it on the cheap as well.
   
   I have done brush on rustoleum as well and its hard as a rock but you better block off a week for it to harden up.

   If you are looking for SIMPLE and QUICK drying, give Krylon 1613 Satin Black a try. Some stores have a couple of choices (different numbers) between gloss and true flat.
