I need to find a nice set of chrome or SS dust caps that will work on my wheel hubs, They are the push on type and I'm guessing that the 39 Lincoln M/T car product use 40 Ford style hubs. Just a little under 2 inch in diameter but they have to be deeper than the **** at the auto parts store. Anyone have a source for the right deal?

I bought some repop caps for the early Ford push in hubs from Mac's a while back, would think some of the other dealers (with reasonable shipping) would carry them also.

Just checked, C&G has the dust caps too, and they have treated me fair on shipping in the past.

I've been watching for the old Cal Custom ones for years, never see the early Ford ones anymore.

Mr Gasket's caps are all late model stuff and his chrome stuff doesn't shine anymore.

Oh Oh, sorry, I missed that you asked about chrome. Print on the phone is getting smaller and harder to see all the time.

I could not find them in chrome so I bought chrome mister gasket cap # 2485 which are smaller then I took the plain caps that were on it and cut the inside ring off and JB welded them to the outside of the chrome ones. came out great I painted the new rings black and you can't tell they are on them here are a few pics I got tired of looking for for them also. Hey I'm glad that 32Owner got bored and poked though the year old threads this morning. That just might be the fix for something I have been fighting with.

Ok, I should have posted this. I did not find the chrome ones but NAPA has the correct caps that I like.
Part #730-2414. I drilled a hole in the edge to hang them and had them chromed. They look good. I'll post a picture when I get out to the shop. The flat top ones just don't cut it.
