Anybody have a phone number for the shop that is building the the Duvall windshield frames. David York in Vancouver, BC and BA Rod & Kustom MFG LTD came up in my search but no phone numbers or contact info. I kno Speedway sells 'em but not what I am looking for. Thanks, Roadkill
Thanks Trent but I only have the Hallock windshields for the 28-29 and 30-31 A's and a bronze windshield for the Deuce. No Duvalls.
If you're looking for a duvall to cut up yourself, I have one that was made for a '32 that i started fitting to my model A before deciding to go a different route. The only thing I modified was the contour on the base, and I only added brass to it - didn't cut anything away. I'll give you a good price if you're interested - these things are $1700 new
Wescott auto has one that I have used. I would think Cam Grant could help you out as he was the originator of the reproduction unit I purchased years ago.He is in BC and I don't have his number.
You might try Wescott,,they list one,,HRP http://www.wescottsauto.com/SubIndexes/k_WindshieldTop_indx.html
there is one listed on ebay USA as a 1932 in silicon brass. It comes in 5 pieces and has to be silicon bronze welded by T I G or silver soldered. Apparently its one of 12 dave grant made using the original molds , that he borrowed & refurbished from duvalls nephew . He only has 4 left I believe. mike
The Duvals that Dave makes are the same as the ones Speedway sells , he makes them for them. Wescotts are diferent. Dave's are the same as the ones Cam sold because he bought the buisness off Cam. If you get one of Daves I make a 2 piece cast aluminum windshield header for those that I used one of Cam's Duvals to make the pattern for and it works and fits great. If you 're interested you can email me at deuceguy@shaw.ca , and I also can put you in contact with Dave or Cam.
I have a 5 piece cast aluminum Duvall windshield. Can someone tell me how to fix groove cut for the glass ?
