I like D of F. The lace on the side of D would be hard though. I can now speak from experience. F is super tasty though. I'd sure drive it.

I'd do A for myself, but I like D and F for a more custom vibe. I like the chromies and WWW's but I'd put little hubcaps on it too.

I'm sure this polling is a big help, right? Practically no agreement at all!

  4. Wow, my first car was a '63 Impala. I am kinda surprised that I like A so much. E is also a nice one.

Holy shit man, you are a true artist. My favorite for that body style was "E". Normally, I wouldn't like the turquiose, but man that's tits! But then again, what do I know, I'm colorblind.

I am all about the E and F Would be sweet with some piner whites! I am going for a simmilar look with my car but cant decide on the design part. I am in love with the Imperial customs olds with the paneled roof though i think the best ever is the black 58 impala with a purple candy laced roof maybe somthin like that!? Has every one seen that one? I am also thinking of a set of chrome reverse wheels as a back up for the supremes on mine, oh I have no idea how to post an image but i have one on my profile.

I haven't read all of the posts, but I'll throw my 2 cents on the table.

I think "D" is the most classic, and follows the '63 styling more closely.

I would add a darker fade at the edges of the panels, to reinforce the contrast with the "scallops", or panel lines, seperating the panels. More like the appearance of the Starliner.

The flames work well, and might be a nice addition to "D", because, while the panel paint looks great on the '63 body, it is really a style that existed before '63. Therefore, it's a little bit of an awkward combination with that body. The flames "date" the paint toward the era in which this car was produced.

I have the same car, I'm looking for some paint ideas too, except in a two tone color scheme. But I like A and C the best on these colors.

I wanted to do a custom grille for Dwayne's 63 Chevy Impala, I have a few idears... but not the time to do it right now. So I went the "easy" way and used a 1962 Buick grille/headlight assembly and used some chrome bullets to create a new grille. It sure does change the whole look of the car. Perhaps in time I will be doing a few more differnt style grilles that are custom built to fit this grille opening rather than using a different grille.

And with wide whites and hubcaps

I love the 1st one where it was green with the chrome reverse and skinny white. I had a 63 and was dying to do a similar treatment cause all the Imps around me have the ever sooo typical american racing/torq thrust but my situation i was unable to keep it. Now after seeing these and just makes want to scoop the one i just found.

Great work Rikster and Thanks for sharing...........These are getting filed!!
