Ouch!!! "Joe Fresh is cheap crap -- the designs are dull and derivative.." Man- you gonna take that KCsledz? I mean really even if it was stolen.... I didn't know it was the company involved with the recent building collapse over there. That sucks.
Shot them an email. Yesterday. No response yet. I have a meeting with a copyright lawyer this afternoon to see if this is even worth chasing.
Lots, I bought one. and the shirts only come in kids sizes only. I am going to cut out car and make it a men's, XL ,Texas, DW Coupe Bad ass T-shirt.
I'm a working artist and have had a few of my illustrations stolen for other use. But only by small operations who really think like most that "if it's online, it's free!", right? No and No. And this use is really bad because they will make serious money from "free art" and almost free sweat shop labor - if the buildings don't collapse first. I'd have a lawyer send a nice note with a demand to recall all of those shirts or pay you a fair use fee - it just ain't right. BTW, I also admire DW's coupe, but corporations are just stomping on everybody lately and stealing is still stealing.
Does anyone have pictures of DW's coupe with the big 16" M&H slicks on the back? I think I saw a small pic of it somewhere and figured one of you yahoo's would have more pics. Back to work... Sam
