I need the expertise of the buick nailheads. I got a 55 century with the a rebuilt 322 and rebuilt dynaflow. I top the 322 with a edelbrock performer, so I got rid of the old throttle mechanical linkage as well as the kickdown mechanism. I did get a new Lokar throttle cable and installed but when I installed the trany, I ran into the problem of not having the kick down, nor can I use the original now. anybody know where I can get a new cable that will work for my app. Or is there a way of manualy engaging the kickdown by hand, similar to the way you would shoot NOS. Just wondering. thanks

You should call Lokar.... they probably will have something to fix that. They are really helpfull when trying to get their products to work with your application.

You could be like me and not run the switchpitch kickdown. I don't recommend it though, milage ****s and on 3rd set of motor mounts, I keep tearin' em apart, darn torque....:p

Am I mistaken? I didn't think Dynaflows had kickdown.
