Over the holiday, I got an email out of the blue from Paul Hoffmann, (one of the recent owners of the Quinton/Joehnck coupe), with pictures of the Quinton/Joehnck coupe with the Lomas Coupe. Jeesh! I just couldn't keep these to myself. Thought I would share. Look so awesome sitting side by side! The Quinton/Joehnck Comp Coupe as well as the Lomas coupe has been talked about here quite a bit, but I think this is the first time I've actually seen them sitting side by side. WOW! Just wanted to share! And here's some stuff on Fullerton Fab's site about the Quinton/Joehnck Coupe: http://fullertonfabrications.com/race_coupe And the Lomas Coupe of course: http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/featuredvehicles/0605rc_1934_ford_deluxe_coupe/index.html
I think for me, these are my two favorite coupes of all time, so it was pretty special to get these pictures from Paul! Many thanks to Paul, if he's on here!
two of my favorites, well make it 3 if you count jack's roadster in the background. thanks for the pictures.
Did you take these or was that an inside joke?? Glad someone took them, rather it was you or Paul or whoever...
Both very beautiful coupes for sure. Love the Lomas coupe form top to bottom and if you could see me in person right now, I am shaking a stick as well at the Joehnck coupe. That shot of the two of them form the rear is a interesting comparison. To me that shot explains why I love 3 window '34's and 5 window '32's. The 3 window '32 has a little more to be desired as far as the Halo goes on the top. They definitely worked the bugs out of the 3 window by 33. But don't get me wrong, I would chop off my own arm to own ether one of these cars.
