alright... time to get even more off topic. anyone watch any of the e-85 formula 1 races this year? or the 2 or 3 nascar e-85 races? I ***ure you, none of those guys were *****ing about it- the formula 1 guys all said the same thing- the motor ran between 2 and 4 percent COOLER. the nascar guys didn't like the additional pit to fuel, but they didn't mind the extra tires. that said, the e-85 restrictor plate race was about 8 m.p.h. FASTER than the year before! (that is alot, kids) and the f-1 cars made about 13 h.p. more than the year before. - and this is in a form of racing where 1 horse-(one) is a great big ****ing deal. sufice to say, it was what sparked my interests in the fuel. after some research, COMPRESSION IS THE KEY.- and if you can pull it off with aluminum heads, get ready to go fast!
Naysayers are always a dime a dozen. Folks who actually do stuff are rare. I am always encouraged when I get neg feedback cause i know i am almost always on the right track where few have been. My Paw who was an Aircraft radio design engineer of some note used to tell me when I would say that wont work or something similar he used to say"Well one thing we know for sure , if you dont try it, it wont work." Used to really tick me off but as I grew older and found my own place to stand i could kiss the ground he walks on for that little barb. It has spurred me into more interesting situations than I ever thought would be and true, not all worked out but in every single one without exception I learned something i didnt know before. Ethonal is beckoning I think. Time to have some more fun. Don
