they are like a mirror and every little part is detailed on them. The even have been re engineered better than the originals with some adjustment built into them. Very nice.

A few weeks back at the Goodwood revival over here, there was a guy selling mainly up-market stuff he had a very nice pair of originals for £1500 thats $2550 in real money.
I think he wants to keep 'em.

I've seen the new ones Framedragger is selling, guys these things are a work of art and the bros selling them are top notch guys. They have put a lot of time and money into re-making these and they are cool. PS I bought a set of org back a couple yrs ago for $550. and still had to rework the insides and make them like the new ones.--TV [IMG]

Save yourself the trouble; The ones on Ebay are incomplete Mexican junk. Get them from Framedragger and do it right. He's been working for years to make them perfect and they are new real E&J's not repops.

When you think of 5-600 for a pair of head lights its alot of money. But if you see how nice and detailed the new E&J lights are. you will be amazed. He has everything done top quality. Then he still spends time on each one making sure it is perfect before it goes out.

  17. WHy would someone mention a NON-HAMBers that is selling a cheap version in the same conversation as a HAMBer selling heirloom quality stuff? That is very tactless! [IMG]

Kinda like talking with a buddy and his girl in the bar and pointing out another chic that the buddy should be doing instead!?

Id like to think that we all have options due to our budgets. I really appreciate slag telling me that, even though I already saw them. I doesnt bother me to have gl*** headlights.....although the aluminum ones are beautiful. Six billd for headlights just isnt in my budget right now and Im not sure id run them polished anyway.

    Thanks for your comments guys!

My ultimate goal has aways been to provide product that would hold or increase in value over time (that's why it is a limited run)... I won't get nervous until I see a 'gl*** set I can't instantly identify as plastic, or someone comes out with a program to polish them "shiny" [IMG] .

The permanent mold costs are pretty high, so I don't have a huge margin to work with, but I'll try to do what I can when I can...

One guy just completed the third of 3 payments for a set... The HAMB community self-regulates, so I would be willing to do that for HAMBers in certain situations...

If you have any questions, e-mail me...

I saw the thread was from 2004 when I first read it. Knowing that, and that the thread was moved here by the Mods on purpose, I thought I would bring it to someone's attention that the link didn't work. If you read the thread, the link was really the only usefull information within.
