Anyone know anything about a EAB-6252 ford cam?

1952 Ford V8 camshaft. Will fit 1949-53 flatheads.

    .328 int, .328 exh.

I'm not sure if the "late stock" cam shown in the photo is the EAB cam, or not.

Late Merc cams are slightly better still - probably can't tell much of a difference in seat of the pants though.

I heard that any 52 or 53 ford or merc cam with EA the first 2 letters is the best lift cam. Not sure on 52 maybe only the 1953 engine has the best cam. Gene

'52-3 same. Ford released 2 sets of specs, discussed in HRM...inclusion of ramps made it look hotter than it was, but it was significantly hotter than the very tame '37-51 cams. I don't know how it compares with the '32-6, which were hooter than '40's ones. One set of specs is in the shop manual or '53 supplement, but I don't know if the information can be squared with modern sustems. Flatdog fully measured one using modern 050 lift standard. I'll see if I can find the numbers he gave me. If you search, I poste torque curve for late Merc on here somewhere.
