No trailers? So I have to get registration, D.O.T. street slicks, and insurance? Can't we at least trailer to the Field?

  4. I'll have to bring a trailer too, no way will I drive the FED 100 miles to get there. :p

I'm glad someone mentioned the "No trailers" thing. My car won't be driving there. Seems like it would lock a lot of people out in that case. At least several buddies of mine who were thinking of going...

The "No Trailers" policy is just along the fence line guys, there is plenty of room for trailers in the pits. A number of racers who drove in really enjoyed parking along the fence line (caution tape) and watching the races between their runs, these racers won't be able to park in the spectator area anymore so I'm saving a place just for them. You can trailer your cars in NO PROBLEM! Rocky

A couple of notes..............BellAir Motorsports (www.bellairmotorsports.com) is making up some cool collectibles for the event, they are only doing a small production runs so you'll want to check out their trailer display in vendor row early. I am also having plenty of paper posters done (selling for under $5 to offer an affordable souvenir) and naturally Ron and Tamara from the ShirtShak are going to be on hand printing event shirts in the hanger. The Reunion is looking to be a FANTASTIC event with plenty to do in just the short time we will have on the 22nd. If all the people (who participated at Fresno Dragways) I've have spoke with show up we are in for a treat starting first thing at breakfast, so get there early and plan too stay late so you don't miss a thing! Rocky

A question on race rules. Are we allowed a co-driver with proper equipment? Like properly installed passenger seat with five point harness and approved helmet? (Chicks dig it)! Some test'n tune track days allow a passenger if you keep it over 14 seconds. Not hard to do with a good brake pedal!!

We're using concrete blocks (see post #117 in this thread) that weigh up to 8,000 lbs:D She has to sign on your tech card and release waiver (3 MAX including driver, age 18 and over) at racer registration when you register your car. "O" and this offer is for mild street cars (14 seconds and slower) at my discretion, Rocky

COOL !!!! SIGN !!!!!....I haven't figured out the easiest way to do that look on T-shirts yet...our big machine will do it.....But it's costly to make T's that way.....so for now....were gonna keep it old school style.

Thank you Sir......but you know me.....always trying new things. Speaking of that....me and Dad were trying to figure out the nightmare logistics of printing shirts....of me...him....Tammy...and our boy....all making passes....and trying to enjoy the show.....Then...loading it all up after a rewarding day and making the trek to Famoso on Sunday for my boy's first "real" junior dragster race.....the things racers will do to race!

Do we need to pre register if we want to be in the drags?

No, you can register at the event. Pay the general admittance fee ($10) at the gate, then go to Racer Registration in the spectator area near the starting line to purchase you tech card ($20). If you pre-register it will all be ready for you to pick-up at the gate Sat. morning AND your entered in the $500 cash prize raffle.
