Eagle Field Hot Rod Gathering Runway Drags Oct 6th

We are just over a week away from the Eagle Field Hot Rod Gathering and it is looking like quite a SHOW. The Gate for Racers, Campers, Swappers and ETC. will be open starting Friday @ 12PM with Pre-Registration Packets, and Tickets and Racer Entry for those who didn't Pre-Register available at the Gate. The show Begins with the gate opening Saturday morning Oct 6th @ 7AM, Swap Meet Spaces are Free after Paid Admission and will hopefully offer Fans and Participants some GREAT Deals. Tech will be open shortly after the Gate opens giving everyone time to make the Drivers Meeting on the Starting Line @ 11:30 AM and be ready to go racing at 12PM. I want to remind Fans with a '73 or earlier ride that our Show and Shine is FREE after Paid admission and offers you preferred Parking in the Spectator area.
The 12PM Opening Ceremonies will include a Fly By by the B-25 Old Glory so keep your eyes in the Sky, you won't be able to get any closer to a Flying B-25 unless your in it! Racing will Hot and Heavy with Kleet Norris on hand to write an article for Hot Rod Deluxe so have your 64 and earlier Traditional Ride Ready.
If you didn't make Eagle Field in May then you probably haven't seen the improvements to control the Dust that our friends at KBK Oils of Fresno have done for us, Thank You Kieth and Dianne!
The Hot Rod Gathering has many "Crazy Cool" cars coming to participate, check out the eaglefielddrags.com "October 2012 Preview" page. A couple of Scheduled to Appear entries to peak your interest is Special Guest Jack Warrens Iron Mistress Willys, Robbie Davis' 2 original survivors, his Homeyers Willys & Anglia and you Flathead enthusiasts won't want to miss the sound of the Bing Speed Shop Flatty in the Homeyers Anglia that was purchased in 1962 for $5000. Pontiac fans will get to see an Injected 1/2 a V-8 powered Dragster. Paul and Vicki Sattler from New Zealand will be our guests with their Blown SB FE Dragster, and Stormy Byrd is trying hard to ***ALT the Historic Runway again. Then there's Elmer "Unsprung" Snyder, The Antique Doll, Tim McMaster and his Beautiful Back UP Nieces, Rat Poison may be on the grounds, I'm going for broke with my TWIN, and MUCH, MUCH More. Great Day on the left coast, weather is great, car is loaded, no more get ups, coffee is made and the Eagle Field Drags are on the menu!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yes it is! We left at 5:30 and are caravanning with our buddy Don with his RED Tempest Engine dragster! See everyone soon!
