Anyone know what the earliest COE truck is. The earliest I have seen is the '39 Ford. But I have seen drawings of some Cabover with a '34 Ford grill.

Wow, that '36 Ford is very odd and cool looking. Seems really tall

Ford lists there first c.o.e. as 1938. IMO that so called 36 was never a production truck.

  6. My understanding about GMC's was they started COE production in 1937.
Spankster, do you have any pictures of a 1934?
    I know my '39 has a 3 digit serial #

1937 was the first year for the medium duty 1 1/2 ton COE. The larger Heavy Duty GMC COE's started around 1934.
