Hi guys….been lurking for a while now but new to the forum, I am looking for some help with my SBC tri power pcv set up for my 37 roadster.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
I have an early 327 block with the hole in the back of the block for what I believe is a road draft tube set up. I have non-vented old school valve covers, and a tri power set up ( 94’s ) on a new edelbrock manifold.
My question is how should I run my pcv ? the manifold has the oil fill tube/breather. I do not want to run the old road draft set up. Would the easiest be to add breathers to my valve covers ? any suggestions ? thanks !!

Geez Bricktop... what the hell is wrong with your post-typing skills? I thought I was having a stroke when I read that.

Also- do an intro before the cops come down hard on you.

The best way is to mod the road draft tube for PCV. Search on it, it's been covered literally thousands of times.

run pcv from your front oil fill tube (65 vet tube) replace the road draft tube with 65 vet fitting and run hose to air cleaner base

There is a bolt in "bung" than goes into the hole in lew of the road draft tube. Check that auction site. The PCV valve would go between that bung and the carb base (middle carb on tri power setup). Filtered air is pulled in through the oil fill cap, through the back of the block, and into the PCV setup to carb. The bung setup is just a long bolt, gasket, and an elbow for the hose; be sure the PCV valve is oriented in the correct direction for things to work correctly. Butch/56sedandelivery.

Went to that auction site, item # 140775844957 is what you need (maybe overprised a bit), but it'll give you an idea of what you need.

Usually, the 2 barrel Rochesters had a port in the carb base that is plugged, unless it's being used. May need a spacer that's drilled and tapped if the carb base is'nt. Butch/56sedandelivery.

He said he is running 94s which don't have the PCV port.

My solution to the no PCV port problem. I had to tap both adapters to prevent leaning out some cylinders. The tubing runs down to the old road draft location in the valley pan.
