i am trying to put my car together, and i cannot figure out how the front bumper brackets work, there is a chance i am missing something. but if i could get some pics showing how and where the brackets bolt up, i think i figured out how they bolt up on the frame, but then it does not match up with the bumper.

here are the brackets i have, this bumper looks like every other one i have seen. it fits on the frame just fine, but it sits too far back to mount to the bumper and doesnt even seem like the holes would line up:confused:

maybe i am just blind and **** at puzzles:confused:

Those brackets look like the rears and the bumper looks like a front. I think that is your problem.

damn, i worried that might be the problem, previous owner told me it had the front, so i have a front bumper with no brackets, and rear brackets with no front bumper. thats great!!

I have a set of front brackets, but the car is at a friend's shop getting the engine pulled (it's a parts car) I'll probably have it back in a week or so, and I'll sell you the bumper brackets off of it and any other brackets you may need. Just let me know.

Those things are huge, so shipping won't be super cheap, but not so big that we can't Fedex them.

yeah please let me know, i really dont have any money left in the car budget. even though it was very small to begin with, i did not expect to need as much as i do.

there are a few trim pieces i am missing as well. does the parts car have the trim?

My parts car is a wagon, so my trim probably won't help you, and most of it is sold already anyway. But I know the front bumper brackets are the same.

When I get the car back I'll let you know, they'll be cheap.
