Any idea what application these spares fit??? - the centers are cool. Are you planing on having the rim widened or cutting the centers out and having them put into a new rim?

  2. as promised, here are two styles of 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern, and two styles of 6 lug. Both of the 5 lug are 16", the yellow 6 lug is 16", the bare 6 lug is 15".

I just wanted to post a public thank you to Sinistercustoms. He recommended using a Toyota 4x4 rear end for my project to fit early Chevy 6 lug artillery wheels.

I think this was a stoke of genius to suggest this option.

I'm a little suprised that 4x4 Toyota rear ends aren't used more often in owner built hot rods. I've learned that they're plentyful, cheap (mine cost $150), geared low enough (about 4.10) and have locker units available. They're also plenty stout for most motors (mine's a SBF 289).

The 4x4 Toyota rear ends are a perfect fit for early 6 lug wheels. I suppose the 2x4 versions, which are 5 lug, are geared a little taller, if you want a highway cruiser.

Thanks again Sinistercutoms, awesome idea and more proof how great the H.A.M.B. is.
