Does anyone have an Idea what or who may have made this intake. It fits an early cadillac for sure but I cannot tell if it takes a GMC style blower pruned or a SCOT. Has a really unique pop off valve round steel plate with six springs like a current Navarro reproduction for a flathead. Finned on the bottom no name cast in but it has been polished at one time. Any help appreciated. Thanks JEff
John Bandamere in Denver cast a few oddball blower manifolds. Being a Chev dealer, it doesn't seem unlikely he may have worked with other GM engines.
could be a universal the has a carb plate for multiple carbs, and a blower plate for a SCoT or It. or 471
As insignificant as it seems, they would cut some of the weight off of the lower part of the blower case, which includes the mounting flanges, then mount it to the intake from inside the case. Not sure but this may have been before dedicated blower intakes started being produced. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/how-is-a-pruned-blower-case-mounted.999144/
