Does anyone know how hard it is (or even possible) to put hyd brakes front a 40 chev onto a 34 chev. They are both tudor sedans and the 40 system is complete and working. I don't think the rear would be too hard, but the 40 has front independent and the 34 is a standard with a straight axle. I would love to just switch them rather than spend money on a new system for the 34! Thanks!!

Don't take this as gossiple but I THINK it is a bolt on change over, at least it certainly looks very feesable. I was planing on doin just that on my '33 but I got rid of it before I finished it up.

Man that would be sweet [IMG] I haven't had a chance to really compare them side by side yet. Just trying to get some prelim (sp?) info. Thanks Jesse.

  4. I've been thinking along these same lines.
I have a 39 Buick that's getting a front clip so I was wondering about using these brakes on the 30 Buick front axle and using a set of aluminum drums to finish it off.
Anyone know if the parts will fit?
