    Prior to 1969 Anglia’s with their short wheelbase were only allowed to run A/G, not supercharged. Eventually the NHRA reversed that ruling.

    Some AA/GS competitors got around that restriction by using the 4-door version, the Prefect model, which had a 94" wheelebase as opposed to the 90" wheelbase of the 2-door Anglia. Steve and Rhonda Woods AA/GS supercharged Prefect comes to mind as an example.

    They want the head to break cleanly off for the funeral services, yet not damage the engine so much.

    Is it just me ore is this car chopped? If chopped it is one hell of a good job.

    Sure looks like Mickey. Is that the car that came to be known as the first slingshot before it got a body?
    I was thinking Olds about the engine too, but somehow the valve covers look kinda big. Olds had core plugs in the side of the block and there’s one under the no. 2 cylinder, but the Caddy didn’t have them there.
