I hate to see wrecked race cars, so I can't like the photo, but Is that the Greek's Chizler?

 

No, the Greek ran a Ch***is Research TE-440. The roll cage is different.

Here is the original Kris Karamensines "Chizzler" from 1959 out on his first Westcoast tour. The big drag race meet was held at the Riverside Raceway on a very cold morning, hot mid-day and then cold afternoon. The clocks had to be adjusted.

It was the first time we had seen the real "Chizzler" in person and now all of the stories we read about for this Midwest terror were right in front of us.
